La Mission Lille Eurométropole Défense Sécurité (MLEDS) a organisé, en partenariat avec l’Institut Jacques Delors, le 25 octobre 2018, à Lille, la 8e édition des Ateliers de la Citadelle, conférence française annuelle consacrée à l’Europe de la défense. Intitulé « la défense européenne dans un monde de brutes », ce colloque était animé par Nicole Gnesotto, professeure de la Chaire Europe au CNAM et vice-présidente de l’Institut Jacques Delors. Il a réuni des acteurs de haut niveau dans ce domaine ainsi que de nombreux militaires et étudiants, répondant ainsi au triptyque Europe-citoyen-défense sous lequel se tiennent ces Ateliers.
