Paul Berenberg-Gossler is an affiliate fellow at the Jacques Delors Institut – Berlin. Paul is particularly interested in macroeconomics, financial markets and the political economy of European integration.
Previously, he worked as a research assistant at the French PM’s Council of Economic Analysis (Conseil d’Analyse économique) and taught group seminars in monetary macroeconomics at the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne. Prior to this, he was also employed as a research and teaching assistant at the Hertie School of Governance, where he helped teaching economics and provided assistance in research activities on European and global macro topics.
He holds a BSc. in Economics from the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas, a MPA with a concentration in economic and territorial development from Sciences Po Paris and a MPP from the Hertie School of Governance Berlin. He is currently working on his PhD on the correlation of financial and business cycles in the Euro area and teaches group seminars in economics at the Hertie School of Governance.
