Fabrizio Pagani

Treasurer

Fabrizio Pagani is a Partner at Vitale, a Milan based financial advisory firm specializing in M&A. He also serves as the President of Finint Infra SGR, an asset management company focusing on infrastructure investments. Pagani is an active contributor to public discourse on television and radio and writing for newspapers and other media outlets.

From 2018 to 2022, Pagani was the Global Head of Economics and Capital Market Strategy at Muzinich & Co., a New York-based asset management firm.

Between 2013 and 2018, he held senior roles within the Italian government, including Chief of Staff to the Minister of Economy and Finance. In this capacity, he oversaw initiatives to enhance national competitiveness, advance privatizations, and reform capital markets and the banking sector. Earlier in his career, Pagani served as an economic advisor to the Italian Prime Minister and as Italy’s G20 Sherpa.

From 2008 to 2013, Pagani worked at the OECD in Paris as Head of the G20 Sherpa Office. Before that, he held various roles in the Italian government (Rome) and the OECD (Paris).

He graduated from the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna in Pisa (1989) and earned a master’s degree from the European University Institute in Florence (1991). He was a visiting scholar at Columbia University (1992) and a NATO Research Fellow (1995).
