Heidi Marleen Kuhlmann is head of communications at the Jacques Delors Institut – Berlin. Previously she worked as a press officer with responsibility for finance-related issues at the German Parliament and for DER SPIEGEL. She was awarded a scholarship by the German National Academic Foundation, and studied European Policy and Franco-German Studies at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms University in Bonn and the Sorbonne University in Paris, and European Interdisciplinary Studies at the College of Europe in Warsaw. Here she specialized in aspects of social policy.
