Jo Ritzen is Professor of Maastricht University at the Maastricht Graduate School of Governance, Senior Policy Adviser at the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA, Bonn) and Chair of Empower European Universities.
He was previously Dutch Minister for Education, Culture and Science; then he served as Vice President of the World Banks Development Economics Department and then of the Human Development Network before becoming President of Maastricht University.
