Former adviser in the cabinet of the President of the European Commission Jacques Delors( 1987-1994), Christine Verger was Director of the Representation of the European Commission in France (1994-1996), Secretary General of the Jacques Delors Institute (1996-1999) and former Secretary general of the socialist group of the European Parliament( 1999-2004). She headed the cabinet of Josep Borrell, President of the European Parliament (2004-2007). She has been Director of Relations with National Parliaments in the European Parliament (2009-2017).
