Towards a European public space? The European elections on June 2004
The heated debates which arose from the draft constitution showed keen to better manage European issues and influence the choices that must be made public at this level. They also highlighted once again how these two goals are difficult to achieve. Understanding the subtle balances of the political system of the EU is not an easy thing to influence the political decision is even less.
