Hamza Abbas is Researched Assistant for European political and institutional issues. Graduated Student from a master degree of Law and Political Science speciality European Union Policies and Project Management (EUPPM) from the University Lille 2 and the Mykolas Romeris University in Vilnius, Hamza has also been an intern in the European Parliament as well as at the Political Chancellery of the French Embassy in Germany.
As the assistant of the First Secretary and a MEP, he discovered the diplomatic world as well as EU-related issues at different levels.
He also took part in the SPECQUE: Euro-Canadian European Parliament Simulation (2010-2013) of which he was Executive Vice-President (2012).
His main fields of interest are enlargement policy, climate policy and european defence policy. His working languages are English, French, German and Swedish.
He joined the Institute in June 2016.
