Versailles, 18 April 2019 – Three decades of public opinions in European member States – consequences for the future of the EU
Daniel Debomy, associate research fellow at the Jacques Delors Institute, will speak at Lycée Hoche for an overview of public opinions about European Union from 1985 to the present day.

Daniel Debomy will analyze the successive phases of the evolution of attitudes towards Europe since 1985. He will emphasize the similarities and differences between Member States, will note the paradoxes in the attitudes displayed and in the light of these two elements, will share his interpretations. He will conclude on possible factors of divergence within the European Union (including North-South and West-East) and the risks they pose for the future of the EU.
He will speak in front of the alumni, the teachers and the students of the high school Hoche.
