Yves Pascouau is associate senior research fellow at the Jacques Delors Institute. He has held various positions in Universities (University of Pau, University of Nantes where he held the Schengen Chair created as part of the Alliance Europa program), in the field of Think Tanks (Director at the European Policy Center from 2011 to 2017) as well as in various civil society organizations (including the European Migration Law association). Holder of a doctorate in public law (Université de Pau et des Pays de Adour), his research and publications focus on European and national policies on immigration, asylum and integration. Since June 2020, Yves Pascouau in a municipal counsellor in Nantes where he is in charge of the Europe, Migrants and Travelers delegations.
