A graduate of the Ecole normale supérieure and the Harvard Law School, Laurent Cohen-Tanugi is a member of the Paris and New York Bars, and the author of numerous books on democracy and the rule of law, European affairs, and geopolitics.
He has been Chairman of the French governmental Task Force “Europe in Globalization” (2007-2008) (www.euromonde2015.eu) during the 2008 French presidency of the EU.
He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Jacques Delors Institute and of the Jean Monnet Institute.
