Brussels, 28 January 2019 – Presentation of the Jacques Delors Institute’s report on migrations
The migration challenge promises to be a key issue in the European elections campaign and the next parliamentary term. With flows of arrivals at the borders of the European Union today in sharp decline from the peak of 2015, the migration crisis appears contained rather than resolved in depth. It brings to light the divisions and tensions between the states of the Union, which is attracting the approach of the European ballot, disrupting the European opinions.
The Jacques Delors Institute is organizing a presentation of the report “For a European Policy on Migration, Asylum and Mobility”, on Monday 28 January 2019, at 15:00, at the Press Club in Brussels.
This presentation will be made in the presence of Enrico Letta, President of the Jacques Delors Institute and former Italian Prime Minister, and Jérôme Vignon, advisor to the Jacques Delors Institute and author of the report. Moderation will be provided by Geneviève Pons, director of the Brussels office of the Jacques Delors Institute.
You can register via this link.
